THIS IS WHAT INSPIRES YOU

I never ever do photo collectives; not usually anyway, but I was paying my favorite tumblr a visit today and couldnt help myself. Most of them are from HERS, and some are from my OWN.

Over the years I've been collecting a large amount of images, fashion, music and art related. So much that, I have aquired quite a large folders worth of just images that have inspired me. Thats part of the reason why I felt the need to start my own tumblr. But then again, I think thats really why anyone starts a tumblr. They want to share images with people all over the world. Images that mean something to each person who views them.

Its a random post. The pictures dont have much do with one another. The only thing each of them really does have in common is me. And feelings I get when I look at them.

Its hard to explain, but I feel like you guys get what Im trying to say.

This coming Fall will be an extreme shock to my closet thats for sure. This summer has been all about loud, radiant colors and whites instead of blacks, and taking color blocking to a whole other level. Coming out of summer, we will see a dramatic turn, where fashion will take on a more minimalistic approach. Personally I cant f**king wait! Based on what I've seen thus far, Autumn will aquaint our whites with our beiges and rusts. And shift from complex, to just plain and simple.

It changes every month, and this month, I happen to have my eyes set on Kasia Struss, Ginta Lapina and ofcourse, Dorothea (she will probably always be one of my favorites). Lately I've been seeing so much of Kasia in magasines, even though I know shes been modeling for quite a while now. Her jaw line reminds me a lot of Natasha Poly's; perhaps that is why I like her so much. She also has that effortless beauty, like Natasha, in which the need to wear makeup is not primitive.

15 year-old, Kendall Jenner, clearly takes after her sisters' incredible style. She is all grown up and looking fabulous as ever. On a lighter note, I hate how good hair runs in that family; its just not fair!!

Ive been trying to find what brand of knee high boots Kendall is wearing in the picture above. I cant find it! I really love them though. Same with the peach dress she wore to the Justin Bieber Never Say Never movie premier.

MET GALA 2011

Of all the dresses I did see these ones made the cut as being my favorites! I was sad to see that not many celebrities actually wore Alexander McQueen, especially considering this year's theme for the Gala was 'Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty". Geisel's dress, a McQueen dress, was fabulous! She looked like a modern day mermaid princess (thats how I describe it). My next favorite was Ginnifer Goodwin's (the emerald dress). First of all, props to her for wearing a TOPSHOP dress to the Met Gala of all places. The dress looked absolutely stunning on her. Green is definitely her color! My absolute favorite dress of the night though, surprisingly, was Fergies!! She wore a very sleek, body-hugging, lace Marchesa dress, also seeming to be mermaid inspired.
